Hi, I'm Ridley (@COGNITOHAZARD) and I'm a hobbyist/freelance illustrator and character designer! I specialize in drawing robots, monsters, and other types of sci-fi and fantasy work.
While I mostly draw for fun and to develop my own personal projects, I've also contributed works to independently published projects (like fanzines), and occassionally do commission work!

Commissions open on an irregular and infrequent basis. I typically announce commission slots via Twitter/Tumblr and they are first come first serve. If you are absolutely determined to have me work on a piece or a larger project while slots are unavailable, feel free to contact me via email or DM me on twitter and we may be able to work something out.
Please note, I currently do not allow any kind of commercial distribution or sale of my work and I do not have any current digital storefronts. If you see my work for sale anywhere (other than zines I am participating in) it is being done so illegally and I ask that you notify me. This ESPECIALLY includes as NFTs. By commissioning me you agree to the following terms of serviceI do not work for exposure, digital currency (with the exception of occassional special offers) or NFT promotion.Payment is in USD via Paypal invoice. Full payment is due upfront unless otherwise stated. Payment plans are not currently available.A sketch will be sent to you for approval; any amount of changes can be made at this point. Once the sketch is approved, only minor changes (such as adjustments to details or colors) will be made.
Refunds are available until the sketch has been approved.I retain the copyright to my work and require credit in any repost of my work. Commissioned art and designs are for personal use only, not commercial use.
Acceptable uses include:
-use on personal websites or social media
-use as streaming graphics
-printing copies for yourself
Unacceptable uses include:
-distribution for profit of any kind
-minting as NFTsCustom character designs and adoptables are not to be resold for more than they were purchased for, and are generally for personal use only. However, if you wish to use a design you have purchased/plan on purchasing from me in a project that will be sold commercially or distributed for money in any way, simply shoot me a DM or an email and we can discuss terms and conditions.I reserve the right to turn down any commissions that I am not comfortable drawing for any reason.
I reserve the right to cancel and refund a commission at any stage.
